Now take the
stance and
align your feet,
knees, hips and
then the shoulders
on that same line

Alignment is just like going on a railway track. When
its Zic-Zac, it is difficult to move fast and its also not
consistent. So having everything in one line helps the
putter move in the same direction every time which
makes it consistent.
If you use the potential putting
grip, make sure that each thumb
is facing directly downwards to insure
square hands throughout the stroke.
This will help you in keeping the
putter face square during impact.
