skills, and even physical therapy. The
student-athletes are well taken care of

Junior Golf is primarily an individual
sport. There is no team atmosphere,
whereas college golf fosters a team
atmosphere. The individuals push each
other within the team to be the best and
they support each other. Every shot
matters in team competition, especially
when your teammates are counting on
you.
Speaking with many tour members, we
have never heard a single professional
say that they wish they had skipped
college. They all seem to cherish their
experiences in College as they prepare
for Professional Golf or a Career.

Former University of Virginia Player)

“She (Kim Lewellen) told me that if I
make it to Final Stage that she’d come
down and caddy for me and she did,”
explained Coughlin. “She basically told
me to take two months and work really
hard.” (From LPGA.com)
Lisa and Leona McGuire (Duke

We know there are many paths to reach
the professional golf tours; however there
is one we strongly believe in – College
Golf. It will best prepare you for future
success in your golf career and life.
At The G2 Academy we work with our
students on the college placement process
beginning in 9th grade with an education
process that prepares them for the summer
after their 10th grade year. This date is the
key to their recruiting process. We make
sure they are ready and prepared to speak
to college coaches. By their junior year,
the girls may commit to the best fi t school
for them and in their senior year, we
celebrate the students signing their NLI.
This year at G2, our only Senior, Ashley
Chow just signed her NLI with SMU, she
will be a mustang next year!!!
