Armin paul wins 6th Ace Junior Golf Tournament
A
rmin Paul Singh won a playoff with Bhavesh Nirwan to take the Category
E Boys title of the 6th Ace Junior Golf Tournament on 8th June at Jaypee
Greens Golf Course. Armin Paul shot 3 birdies and was leading the
tournament by 2 shots going in to the last hole. However he scored a double bogey
in the last hole to settle for a score of level par and a play off with Bhavesh who
shot the same score.
In the playoff both the players hit their tee shot into the green side bunker of Hole
no.1. While Bhavesh got unlucky as his ball lay in a footprint inside the bunker and
scored a double bogey from there, Armin birdied the hole and won the play off. In
the E Girls Samaira Tomar won the category with a score of 3 over.
In other categories, Pablo S. Tobia won category A Boys with a 7 over par and 4 shot
victory over the next competitor Sachin Dayal who scored 11 over par. Himadhri
Singh won the girls division with a score of 8 over par.

ore than 60 players participated in the 2nd edition of
Ace Summer’s Cup held at the pristine Panchkula
Golf Club on 26th June 2018. Players from all over
Punjab including cities like Chandigarh, Panchkula, Kapurthala,
Jallandhar etc turned up for this mega event inspite of the heat.
Ankush Saroha won the Boys A Category with a score of level
par. He started his round with a 100 yard hole out for a eagle on
the ¿ rst hole. Ankush Saroha played a ¿ ne round which included

Abhishek Kohli came second with a score of 5 over par where
Janeesh Jeev Singh settled for the third position.
Ajay Kumar won the D boys category with an excellent
performance of 3 under par and won the category by 7 strokes.
Arav vir Bachal bagged the second spot with 4 over par and
Krish Chawla came third with 5 over par.
