Little Master Junior Golf Tour organized the 1st Vani Kapoor Invitational all girls event at the picturesque Karma Lakelands on Friday 13th July . The invitation was extended to 40 players from age division 6 to 19 .
The special excitement of the event for the girls was the competition “ Beat the Pro ” on Hole # 6 , where the girls tried to hit the ball closer to the �ag than Vani ’ s ball . Vani truly was in hot form as all her shots �nished 8 / 10 feet left or right of the hole , and no girl could beat her , but Vani gave a Callaway signed golf ball to each girl who hit the green .
The age divisions in the 9 Hole Invitational championship were 16-22 , 13-15 , 10-12 , 8-9 and 6-7 . There was a playoff for the best score of the day between Rhea Jha ( 13-15 age group ) and Zara Anand ( 8-9 age group ) as both played 2 under par . The playoff was won by Rhea Jha .
The prize presentation was attended by Vani ’ s Dad , Mr . Ashwani Khurana and more than 20 parents . Proceeding started by Mr . Khurana addressing the players and parents , followed by Vani giving honorary membership of Karma Lakelands and launching the junior membership card , with the �rst recipient being Prarthana

After the prize presentation , the 3 youngest competitors handed over a Vani ’ s poster signed by all the girls participating in the event .
Western Zone Feeder Tour - 5th round at Poona Club Golf Course
The 5th Tournament of the Western Zone Sub Junior and Junior Feeder Tour was held at Poona Club Golf Course , Pune , from 4th June with a practice round followed by two tournament rounds on 5th and 6th June 2018 . It saw a record number participation of 85 Junior Golfers .
