Proſ le GPJ: For how long have you been playing golf? IA: I have been am playing golf from around 3.5 years. GPJ: Who initiated you to play golf? IA: My uncle, a keen golfer himself introduced me to the game. When I was 8 years old he told my dad that I have the talent for the sport. After a session at the driving range my father bought me a set and that is how it all started. GPJ: How do you manage golf and studies? IA: Sometimes I face problem managing golf and studies at the same time for even missing summative assessments sometimes for golf tournaments. I come back from school at 4:30 then going on the course at 5 for practice. It’s pretty hard doing all the homework and stuff but my passion for golf helps making it manageable. GPJ: What has been the role of IGU? IA: Indian Golf Union is really good. Their competition is amazing and course management is perfect. GPJ: Your favourites? Food: Sushi, Book: Harry potter Male Golfer: Rory Mcilroy Female Golfer: Aditi Ashok GPJ: How has golf helped you in your day-to-day activity? IA: Golf has made me more patient. It has made me a better self. GPJ: Your advice to other Junior Golfers? IA: Never play against the Player, Play against the course. If you play against the player your own game would shut down and if you play against the course, you could see your game turning up. C ISHAAN AHUJA WHAT’S IN THE BAG ! Driver Wedge Balls Irons Putter GPJ: Whats your future plans? IA: I want to be like Rory MccIlroy. I really want to play on the PGA tour, the Asian Tour, The European Tour and the other Tours. GPJ: Who prompted you to take up golf out of all the other sports? AS: My father who also is a keen golfer. GPJ: When did you start playing Junior Golf Tournaments? AS: I started playing Junior golf tournaments when I was 7 years old. AJAYBIR SINGH D GPJ: How do you manage your time between golf and studies? AS: Every day after school I practice golf for at least three hours. GPJ: What are your future plans? AS: I want to became a professional golfer and play for my country. GPJ: Fitness is really important. Tell us about your day-to-day ¿ tness regime. AS: On a regular basis i attend the ¿ tness camps at CGA to improve my golf game which also helps in developing my health. GPJ: What has been the role of IGU? AS: IGU has played a big role in my golf game as they access me to play in their tournament. WHAT’S IN THE BAG ! GPJ: Your favourites? Favourite Club - Driver Golfer - Tiger Woods GPJ: How has golf helped you in your day-to-day activity? AS: I am more focussed and patient now. If you practice and work hard you will achieve what you want.
