ProÀ le CAT. A GP: How did you manage your time to juggle between golf and studies? GS: I mostly play golf in the afternoon and then study in the night. Or Sometimes I play in evening. I make sure that I give quality time to study as well as golf. GP: What has been the role of IGU? GS: IGU plays a massive role in promotion of junior golf and organises good tournaments. GP: What are your future GP: Who prompted you to take up golf out of all the other sports? GS: My father mainly convinced me to start the sport as it was very rare in INDIA. But now it is very competitive. plans? GS: My future plans as such are to play in the IGU circuit and maintain my game. Hopefully I’ll turn pro when my game reaches that level. My grandfather was probably fed up with so many wrestlers, so he wanted me to try something else. All of my teachers and friends are very helpful and I know I have to study because I feel like my education is just like a huge stepping stone towards my goal. GP: What are your future plans? SJ: I’m plan to ¿ nish my education, get into a US COLLEGE and then go onto the PGA TOUR but most importantly, I plan to rise in the World Amateur Rankings and hopefully become number one before touring professional. A healthier boy, it has helped me understand the importance of exercising and nutrition but most importantly, it has made me more disciplined.
