4 UNDER AT IGU EVENT

annvijay S. Gill ruled the
greens with a brilliant 4 under
the ¿ rst day and 2 over the
second day which sealed his
victory by 2 shots and a total of 2 under
for two days in a tough tournament

by Arshvant Srivastava and Arav Vir

In the inaugural tournament of Ace-IGU
North Zone Sub-Junior/Junior Feeder
tour over 160 golfers participated at the
prestigious Panchkula Golf Club. It was
the ¿ rst time ever that Live scoring was
done in a IGU tournament in India. The
audience could follow the scores of the
participants live on their mobile phones.

Ladies committee chairperson Mrs.
Pauline JM Singh. She appreciated
the effort put by the junior golfers and
emphasized on the fact that the feeder
tour is an important step for junior golfers
to get disciplined and groom their game
for the main IGU tour. She congratulated
the winners and encouraged the rest
of the participants to work hard for the
remaining IGU feeder tournaments.
