oWoman Magazine was launched in April at the
Movenpick Hotel, Accra, Ghana. We brought
together 100 women from around the region.
With our sponsors Printex Ghana and Baileys we
honoured Nobel Prize Laureate Leymah Gbowee, human
rights activist and Ghana’s Minister of Gender Nana Oye
Lithur, actress, producer, and health advocate Yvonne
Nelson, and entrepreneur, fashion designer Aisha Obuobi;
four women who we believe encapsulate the complete
