JAYCO ADDS NEW TECH
Jayco has added “ new , smart technology and increased safety additions ” to its 2021 range of RVs .
These features include the sway control system Lippert Sway Command , which comes standard in the Journey , Expanda pop-tops , Silverline , Work ’ N ’ Play , Basestation , CrossTrak and All Terrain models .
Jayco has also introduced the Lippert Tire Linc Tyre Pressure Monitoring System to a large portion of its 2021 range . The system alerts customers when there is a pressure problem or a leak in a tyre .
Most of Jayco ’ s RVs also come with Projecta ’ s ‘ Intelli-Jay ’ power management system , which was specially designed to meet the lighting and electrical requirements of Jayco vans .
THE FRONT BOOT
Intelli-Jay allows users to control and monitor lighting , electrical and water systems from a smartphone or tablet . At the heart of the system , which incorporates a host of safeguards , is a transformer that unifies all wiring in a Jayco caravan , managing the charging of the battery , solar and the distribution of DC power to 12V appliances and lighting .
A lithium battery is now standard in Silverline and All Terrain models .
According to Jayco national sales manager Scott Jones , the manufacturer has seen a 35 per cent year-on-year increase in sales ( new and used RVs ). The company finished 2020 with 10,600 products sold , and is forecasting a figure of 13,800 for 2021 .
