HOME-MADE HOLDING TANK
This home made waste water system is made from a couple of lengths of 150mm stormwater pipe and fittings . A short hose is connected from the regular waste outlet to the inlet of the grey water tank . On the other end are two taps , one for venting the system while filling and the other to empty the tank .
Situated just behind the rear axle , the weight of waste water has little effect on the load balance of the van and , of course , you open the tap as you leave so the water drains out in the first few kilometres anyway . Works well and simple .
