RV FEATURE
After looking over each model and cooking lunch on one of the outdoor kitchens , it was time to check out how well they did around Land Cruiser Mountain Park ’ s 4WD tracks .
The park has something for everyone , from fun undulating tracks to eye-popping gaugedout treks that stop your heart every now and then on a step descent or potential chassisbreaking hollow . And we tried much of it .
To say these rigs handled whatever we threw at them would be to master the art of understatement . They went bloody well . At no time was there a time when we were secondguessing our approach or holding on for dear life hoping we ’ d come out the other end .
The entire range didn ’ t disappoint . These rigs are the real deal . They ran true despite facing some significant bumps and dips , ruts and rises , that might make less-worthy rigs shudder .
IN THE END
Some days are too long , some days you don ’ t want to end . The opportunity to play with this superb range offered the latter . We left the trio of Vision hybrids resting where we ’ d found them and marked them down as having offered a great 4WD experience . They are true offroad contenders .
