DIY KITCHEN CAPERS
I did this mod to my caravan as I did not want to cook inside . I enjoy the outdoors and don ’ t like getting those meat and grease smells and stains in the van . So I made a new kitchen that slides outside the van with a gas-lift hinge to lift up the height of the bench to a comfortable level , with stand for extra support .
It has a sink , a three-burner stove , a draw for utensils and a water pump to supply water to the sink if no mains is available when freecamping .
It neatly folds down and slides under the main bed in the caravan , in its own box .
