PLUGGING ALONG
As you get older , it becomes a little more difficult to get under the car to attach all the plugs required when towing . I used some scrap aluminium checkerplate to make this bracket , which fits two Anderson plugs , one plug for the rear-view camera display , and the 12-pin plug for the Jeep .
We recently purchased an Adria van and needed an extra Anderson on the car , so I removed the plugs I had installed on the car and came up with this idea .
I was also tired of searching through a plastic tub in the boot of the van for all hose fittings , so I cut some old snap-on tap fittings in half and screwed the snap-ons to a piece of timber . Now all the fittings that we use snap on and are easily found .

The first plate is a piece of 3mm aluminium , which is attached to the towbar with a few small self-tapping screws on the side wings of the towbar .
I then cut up a piece of aluminium checkerplate to extend that plate out to where I could easily access the plugs . All plugs are attached to the checkerplate with self-tappers .
