JOYS OF LIFE
We just want to get back out there , towing the van and enjoying life . My wife and I retired this year with the objective of seeing the Australia that we love but know so little about . We have the tow vehicle and the van , so all we want to do is get on the road and head for the great unknown .

The dogs are driving us crazy for their next adventure . They , like us , love the joys of life on the road , exploring our great country and the company of the people we meet on our travels .

DON ’ T TAKE OVER
Edwin Daly , so true are your words about the ‘ helper ’ ( GoRV # 41 ), as we encountered two such ‘ helpers ’ on our first outing after picking up our van in 2011 . In short , I was polite for a while but in the end had to be just plain blunt with them as they were taking over our setting up and we needed to ‘ learn on the job ’.
I am more than happy to have people ask if I need help , which gives me the option to say yes / no , but it is irritating when a ‘ helper ’ just tries to take over .
For me , nine years down the track , I will offer help if I think it is needed , but I also tell the person that they can tell me to ‘ naff off ’ and I won ' t be offended .

Even though I may be old I still have a spark for adventure !
The Triton Rola Tray would be all I need to hold
all my gear and take off . With miles to travel , places to enjoy , just to lay on the roof and watch a million stars light up the night sky and let the magic begin and dreams come true .

MORE FREEDOM CAMPS , PLEASE
I would like to see more towns have freedom camps as caravan parks don ’ t accomodate large vans . Not all of us have the funds or want to stay in a caravan park , nor need what they offer .
I would prefer to contribute to the entire community rather that only one business .
