SUMMING UP
After more than two years full-time on the
road, accommodation is a major expense for
us. Any opportunity we get to free-camp or
stay at low-cost camping sites offers us
significant savings.
This doesn’t mean having to miss out on
modern conveniences. I will acknowledge
some of these modifications are not cheap and
not all of them will suit everyone, but if just
one of these mods makes your caravanning
life a little easier or more comfortable, then it
could be money well spent.
