While perusing social media one quite Thursday night,
I read a post by caravanners Carol and Terry Chamney
that embodied this spirit. Carol’s need for regular
haemodialysis, you see, hasn’t prevented the couple from
hitching up the van and exploring Australia.

With research and planning, they’ve overcome the
challenges presented by Carol’s medical needs. Anyone
faced with ‘road blocks’ – sometimes known as excuses
– as they decide whether to hit the road or not, should
read the article on page 46. If Carol and Terry can do it,
so can you.

You get out what you put in. Where there’s a will, there’s
a way. Choose your cliche, but we all get one waltz on
this giant dance floor. You can sit it out, or strap on your
dancing shoes.
Silly metaphors aside, this issue is packed with useful
information. I was particularly interested to climb aboard
Regal’s new motorhome. For a company that’s until now
only ever built caravans, Regal has certainly done a top
job with its Mercedes Sprinter-based rig.
