M M If retro-fitting, does the coupling have the same stud pattern as your existing coupling? 24 \ While various types are available to suit different trailer types, from box trailer to caravan, the 3.5-tonne Easy-Fit version is the company’s most popular. At its highest point, it’s only 125mm high, giving it quite a low profile. They are also very easy to hitch up, thanks to the unique shape of the receiver that bolts to the towbar. This receiver will guide the horizontal, cylindrical coupler into position as the tow vehicle is reversed. A special arm will flick up and back down automatically, locking the coupling. Then, it’s simply a matter of sliding in a safety pin and a separate locking pin.
