ALEXA LAUNCHED AT VIC SHOW!
Jayco has introduced voice activation to its Silverline
caravan and Optimum motorhome models.
The Amazon Alexa digital ‘personal assistant’
is packaged with Jayco’s RVConnect suite of
technology.
“The introduction of Alexa means simple voice
commands such as ‘Alexa, turn on the lights’,
‘Alexa, what’s the weather forecast?’ or even
‘Alexa, change my TV channel’ will be actioned,”
Jayco CEO Garry Moore said.
Alexa can be accessed anywhere the van has
access to wi-fi. The RVConnect suite includes a
wi-fi extender that “captures wi-fi signals within
a significantly increased range and provides
maximum security and mobile internet speed
with 4G capability”.
NEW-LOOK TRAILBLAZER
Majestic has released the next generation of its
offroad caravan, the Trailblazer.
If you’re in the market for a new offroader, the
Majestic Trailblazer would be worth a good look.
For 2019, the Trailblazer gets a self-levelling system,
vacuum-bonded walls, ATX or XT Cruisemaster
suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and a hot-
dipped galvanised chassis. Lithium batteries and
a solar array are part of the package, too.
