Western Australian caravan dealership Luxury
RVs has donated a defibrillator to the Wait Awhile
Nomads branch of the Australian Caravan Club.
The branch’s Bob Elkington and Jennie Morison
were on the hunt for a new van. Upon deciding
on a Galaxy van from from the Rockingham
dealership, they asked general manager Luke Bell
if the dealership would be willing to sponsor this
vital piece of equipment. He was happy to oblige.
“This defibrillator will be a life-saving addition
for the members of the ACC Wait Awhile Nomads
group,” said Mr Bell.

As Bob and Jennie collected their new Galaxy
Caravan, Wait Awhile Nomads branch secretary
David Braidwood was on hand to accept the
defibrillator. “Our branch members sincerely
thank Luxury RV Rockingham for this extremely
generous sponsorship. With a branch membership
of 62, this defibrillator has the potential to save
lives.”
The branch had been raising money to purchase
a defibrillator, but will now donate some of these
funds to St Johns Ambulance.
