REST YOUR HEAD
When you’re out on the road,
it’s important to keep your
gear as light as possible.
That’s why the BlackWolf
Deluxe Self-Inflating Pillow
caught my eye.
Now, when you’re
caravanning, a normal pillow
takes up little space and
payload capacity. But if you’re
tent camping – or you’ve left
the van at the holiday park to
camp further afield – a unit
such as this makes sense.
The BlackWolf pillow can be
rolled up and stored in a small
carry bag – it takes up little
space in the backpack – and
thanks to a special valve, it will
inflate itself at bedtime.
However, on first use, I was
expecting it to self-inflate
a little more fully. In fact, it
only sucked enough air in to
become half inflated. I found
that three or four breaths
through the valve were
required to inflate this pillow
to a comfortable level.
Nonetheless, the BlackWolf
Deluxe Self-Inflating Pillow
is undoubtedly a handy
addition to the camping kit,
particularly if overnight hiking
is on the cards.

ACC GROWS IN QLD
A 12 per cent growth in membership of the
Australian Caravan Club (ACC) over the past
year has sparked the formation of two new
branches in Queensland.
In Far North Queensland, the club’s 51st
branch, the ACC Rainforest Ramblers, hit the
ground running with 34 initial members. The
branch will service RVers from Cooktown to
the Cassowary Coast.
The club’s 52nd branch, the ACC Awesome
Bundy Cruisers, formed days later to
service RVers living in the Bundaberg and
surrounding region.

focus is very much about fun, friendship and
adventure within the recreational vehicle
community,” he said.
ACC Awesome Bundy Cruisers branch
convenor Janelle Allen said the branch’s
inaugural members were looking forward to
seeing membership grow.
With an Australia-wide membership of
about 5000, the ACC is one of the largest RV
