If you own a caravan in any state other than Victoria, you’ve no-doubt fumed at the expense or scratched your head trying to work it all out. In some states, it costs more to register a van than it does to register a 4WD elsewhere. Other states, meanwhile, will base rego fees on the weight of the van.
