A NEW OFFROAD COUPLING HAS ARRIVED…
Has Al-Ko developed the
easiest offroad pin coupling
on the market? That’s the
question following the release
of the Click Lock, a coupling
that is completely self-locking.
In fact, it completes the
primary and secondary locking
functions required for ADR
compliance by itself – the
result is hand-free hitching.
In essence, the user simply
winds the coupling down onto
the supplied pin. An integrated
positive latching indicator will
click into place, confirming that
the coupling is locked.
The Click Lock system was
designed by Al-Ko in Melbourne
and tested at the Australian
Automotive Research Centre in
Anglesea, Vic, prior to release.
The coupling has maximum
articulation on both horizontal
and vertical planes, sustained
up to 3500kg ATM. Its built-in
cover seals the coupling from
dust, water, etc., without the
need for an additional dust cap.
