Discover Mastic was the title of the school’s e-journal with loads of reports, videos, recipes and info from various sources-others written by fourth graders with the guidance of their teacher Zoi Theodosi, and others given by our main stakeholders to the students.
The students’ involvement and active participation in the Erasmus plus project "Green Skills for Social Agriculture" as well as in the environmental program which focuses on Mastic as a distinctive local product of Greece, gave them the opportunity to find out more about Chios island and this unique tree with its precious teardrop resin and spread the word to everyone involved on the project as the "Know-How" about its cultivation has been included in Unesco's World List Of Cultural Heritage.
