Project Activity geared to young learners –16.03.2017 (Second Grade/7year-olds) Younger pupils of the school indirectly involved with the Erasmus plus project, along with their directly involved teacher Dora Manesi, started working through the subjects of Language-Literacy and Environmental Studies as well as Art, on plant and tree identity, examining in time every single local product of all partners, naturally in L1, which will then be translated in English. At the beginning they had to be familiarized with the map of Europe and got to know the countries involved, studied their place on the map, drew their flags and then looked for information regarding the season each plant/tree grows, how it is cultivated, the fruit/product it gives and 'dressed «their findings with colorful drawings, poems, folk tales as well as riddles connected to each local product. Their exploration of fruits and plants was done through stories, poems and proverbs leading to helpful knowledge about their valuable contribution to our daily food intake adding to their taking the initiative of consuming fruit at school(in class) on a daily basis. It is a really good practice example involving younger ages, activating their knowledge regarding all aspects of the food product and the country it comes from (the power point presentation uploaded in twin space) Examples of the ways they approached each food product
