Alessandro’s participation to the project “Green Skills for Social Agriculture” Presentation  Synthetic profile of deficit typology.  Starting cognitive, relational and emotional situation Alessandro is a 16 years old boy with an autism spectrum disorder. Alessandro has a delay and difficulty in speech articulation, he can read a collection of about 100 words and is able to write from dictation at the computer, matching the grapheme to the phoneme (spelling); he is obsessed with order and routine, any change must be set and prepared in due time. The best way to communicate with him is through the AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), with the use of PECS downloaded from the Internet, photographs, videos, and / or writing in his notebook, combining images corresponding to the words. He is a sunny guy, he likes working in the classroom and being with his classmates. For each subject, teachers choose one or two topics, which are greatly simplified and processed in an individualized path that is within his reach and in relation with the knowledge that he can somehow connect to his daily life.  Alessandro’s relationship with his classmates.  Relationship with curricular teachers.  Other people supporting the student. As stated above, Alessandro is a sunny guy, he likes staying at school and being with the class group he feels part of. He knows all the teachers and associates them with the subjects they teach. With Alessandro there is always a special education teacher or a Professional Educator to cover the entire school timetable (30 hours per week).
