Twin brothers’ baby boys born on same day Twin brothers have become fathers of baby boys within hours of each other, at the same hospital, delivered by the same midwife, and both two days early. Midwife Barbara Kapoor said: “I have never heard of this happening before. It is amazing.” The 21-year-old twins are both first-time parents. They said: “It is absolutely amazing that we became fathers of sons on the same day. It is great for everyone and everyone at the hospital was great.” “Our mother was with me when Tegan (Jarrel’s wife) gave birth, saw her grandson being born and, a few hours later, she got to meet another one”, remembered Jarrel, quoted by Mirror. Jeromme Spence’s baby, Cameron, was born at 02:04 GMT at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton on Monday, and Jarrel Spence’s baby, Cassen, at 04:34 GMT. According to the English newspaper Mirror, the doctors that followed both Tegan’s and Francesca’s pregnancy had told the brothers that their babies would probably be born on the same day, as their due dates were both scheduled for Wednesday 26th November 2014. The babies were born in the same room and were brought into this world by the same midwife, Barbara Kapoor. Cameron, Jeromme’s son, was the first one to be born, at 02:34h in the morning, and, two hours later, it was little Cassen, the baby of Jarrel and Francesca. Raquel Fialho, 12ºC 12
