Jasmine Sachdev is 14 years old ( category B ) Bangalorean amateur golfer . She has also participated in many big tournaments like Governor ’ s Cup , IGU Gujarat Ladies , runner up of True Vision Thailand 2012 , etc . She has ranked 1 in South Zone also .
GP : What prompted you to take up the sport of golf ?
JS : My Father inspired me as I used to accompany him to the driving range often when I was young .
GP : How do you manage your time between golf and studies ?
JS : Studies is always a priority at this point of time . I manage to practice and play on the weekends .
GP : What are your future plans ?
JS : Take up golf seriously and also put all my golfing knowledge to use in designing golf courses around the world .

GP : What are the thoughts that often cross your mind at the first tee during the start of a tournament ?
JS : Excited to give my best performance all the time . GP : How has golf helped you in your day-to-day life ?
JS : Teaches me honesty , manners , courtesy and most importantly punctuality .
GP : Your advice to other junior golfers .
JS : Work hard and keep practicing . Do not think of success it will come by itself if you work hard and practice .
GP : When did you start playing junior golf tournaments ?
JS : When I was seven years old I started with the South Zone junior events .
