GP: How do you manage your time between golf and studies?
LG: With the help of my mother we divide time according to the priority
we have. If exams are near, more of studies and less of golf and when
a tournament is approaching more of golf and less of studies.
GP: What has been the role of IGU in your growth as a golfer?
LG: I played my first IGU tournament within eight months of starting
golf. After looking at the competition on the IGU, I was motivated to
performing better and getting fitter.
GP: What are your future plans?
LG: I want to be an automobile engineer and also a professional
golfer.
GP: Pastime beyond Golf
LG: Reading, drawing, dancing and playing with my dog
GP: (Awards and Achievements)
LG: 2nd Rank in IGU North Zone Feeder Tour Sub-Junior and
represented India in Albatross International.
GP : Is there any foremost thought that comes to your mind at
the first tee during the commencement of a tournament?
LG: Yes, too many thoughts at the first tee: Get a good score, Not to
be stressed and to remember what my coach has told me to do during
the tournament.
GP: How has golf helped you in your day-to-day life?
LG: I’m fitter and stronger now.
GP: Is there any other sport that you play?
LG: I like to play tennis and basketball.
GP: Your advice to other junior golfers.
LG: Follow your coach’s instructions, Practice hard and smart and Eat
good healthy food.
GP: Fitness is really important. Tell us about your day-to-day
fitness regime.
LG: I play different sports and whenever I have time I go to the Siri
Fort Sports Complex for my fitness training.
