The half-day golf event raised enough donations to educate 1500 underprivileged students for a year through full scholarship. The event was held at Oxford Golf Resort in Pune. Speaking about Isha Golf Jaunt, Sadhguru said „We are a nation of enormous population. In a way, the only wealth that we have is people, but the people of this nation will become a wealth only if we make them competent, focused, skillful and inspired. If we leave them uneducated, uninspired and 18 G o l f P l u s DECEMBER incompetent, then we will be the greatest disaster. So, whether we are going to be a great disaster or a great miracle simply depends on whether we educate our rural population or not.
