NAVY V/S NGC
he annual match between NAVY v/s NGC turned out to be a
very exciting event as record 118 players participated
(Serving and Retired) on 10th November, 2018. The
Tournament was won by NAVY TEAM which was led by
Naval Chief ADM Sunil Lanba.
After I took up as Chairman (Tournament, Branding and
Discipline Committee) at the Noida Golf Course my aim is
to have more quality tournaments every month. We are
focussing on getting more reputed companies on board
which would enable us to have more member participation
and hence increase in the number of tournaments being
conducted. Since August, we have had 6 big tournaments
where the first one was a PGTI event- QA InfoTech,
then the Indian Petroleum Masters and an IGU Junior
tournament. We also ended up having record participation
in the recently concluded Diwali Cup where we had over
500 members participating. NGC also hosted the Naval
Chief in the annual Navy vs. Noida Golf Course match
and we would be concluding this year with our Marquee
Event, The New Year Cup. We have been seeing different
corporates participating from other clubs. We have more
tournaments lined up for the year end and I am looking
forward for more such events and more corporate support
in 2019.
