CONTROLLING TRAJECTORY
WITH THE PITCH SHOTS
A
s an intermediate to advanced
player you must learn to
control the trajectory on
your pitch shots. Being able to do
so will help you to be more adept at
working with different conditions
on the greens as well as different
À ag locations.
The key element here is your
control of the dynamic loft of the
club face.
In the ¿ rst scenario where I want the ball to
À y low, I have got my hands well ahead of the
ball at impact. The result is a low À ying pitch
shot that will hit the green and release up to
the hole. This is a good shot to play when you
have a lot of green to work with.
