Arjun Chandani shot a brilliant round
of two under par on the second day of
the IGU Amateur Feeder Tour to win the
tournament by two shots from overnight
leader Amal Jha. Arjun hit four birdies
and a bogey on the front-nine followed
by a double bogey and another birdie
on the back-nine to bring back the
winning scorecard of 65. While Rohit
Narwal and Amal Jha were tied for the
2nd spot, Rohit was judged runner-
up on the basis of his better score on
day two. Amal Jha settled for the 2nd
runner-up position. The event also
witnessed two Hole-in-Ones both on Par
3s – one by Dhairya Jain (Day 1, Hole
No. 16) and the other by Rohit Narwal
(Day 2, Hole No. 5). The 2nd event of
the IGU Amateur Feeder Tour saw over
40 enthusiastic participants putting their
golfing skills to test at the challenging
Jaypee Wishtown Course. The top six
players on the merit list this season
will get a chance to play the IGU Main
Amateur Tour in 2019.
