KK: Fitness for me is a habit. Warm-up and cool-down is important for
me daily. I work on strength training and balance thrice a week.
GP: What’s the strongest part of your game?
KK: My driver and my putting. I am now working on hitting my
approach shots closer.
GP: Which event was the game changer for you?
KK: I am still waiting for my game changer event. Even when it comes,
I may not know it.
GP: What is your set-up routine before each shot?
KK: I visualise the shot I want to play and my basic rule is aim and fire.
GP: What are your goals for the season?
KK: A fitter body, fitter mind and most importantly Gold for the
country at the Asian Games.
GP: If it wasn’t golf, which sport would you have liked to play at
a competitive level?
KK: I really donÊt know, but I enjoy swimming a lot.
GP: How do you take a break from Golf?
GP: Fitness is really important. What is your fitness regime?
KK: How can you take a break from something you love. There are
times when I watch birds in the golf course or see fishes in the water
hazards or simply enjoy flora. IÊm blessed to play a sport that keeps me
close to nature. That itself is a break.
