GOLFCLUB SCHLOSS SCHÖNBORN Who ever takes the opportunity to play golf in Schön-
born will immediately experience the richness of Austrian tradition and history. The splendidly
renovated castle houses the restaurant and the clubhouse, in its historic surroundings. The
castle was built between 1712 - 1717 by the architect Lukas von Hildebrand as a summer re-
sidence for Friedrich Karl von Schönborn. The 104 hectars of superb park land was converted,
in 1989, into a perfect Golf complex which combines sport with the extraordinary experience
of nature and history. Unlike most golf courses, the Schönborn landscape has been integrated
in the planning and modeling of the holes. The classic atmosphere of the castle and parkland
sets the superb style of clublife. Two thirds of the 27 Hole Championship Course lays within

FONTANA GOLF CLUB Fontana Golf Club is probably the most exclusive in Austria.
The entire terrain was designed on the drawing board. The course is just a few minu-
tes drive south of Vienna. Fontana welcomes its guests in one of the most exclusive

its special ambience. The course was designed by Canadian architect Dough Carrick,
who succeeded in designing a spectacular left hand course on a plot of grazing land

ADAMSTAL GC Golfclub Adamstal is located in Lower Austrias’s Alpine foreland in Ram-
sau and is considered one of Europe’s most beautiful and spectacular golf courses.

and also has an unmatched scenery. A dedicated architect – the Canadian Jeff Howes, a
disciple of Jack Nicklaus, who gave Adamstal its unique design. And a driving force be-
