The PGA of Australia (PGA) deliver
training and education programs that
offer individuals nationally recognised
qualifications that provide you with the
stepping stone towards a career in golf.
The PGA Career Information Nights are held
around the country, providing golfers with
an insight in to all golf education programs
provided by the PGA. These evenings allow
individuals to find which program will suit
them best on the path toward a career in
golf, whether it is as a PGA Professional, Golf
Coach or within in golf management.
EDUCATIONAL GOLF PROGRAMS
AVAILABLE WITH THE PGA ARE:
• PGA Trainee Program: - 3 year Trainee
Program to become a qualified PGA
Professional in Australia, and Full
Vocational Member of the PGA of
Australia
• PGA Bridging Program: - Program for
Tour Professionals looking at becoming
a Full Vocational Member of the PGA of
Australia
• PGA Golf Performance Program: - For
elite golfers looking at golf improvement
and career in the industry, with pathways
to PGA Trainee Program.

• PGA IGI Diploma of Golf Management:
- Australia’s only golf management
qualification. Pathways to University and
PGA Trainee Program. Available to study
on-campus or E-Learning.
The PGA Education programs are renowned
for producing skilled graduates, which are
now working in the golf industry in Australia
and around the world. They hold positions
such as Golf Coach (PGA Professional),
Tour Professional, General Manager, Event
Manager, Membership Manager, Director
of Golf, Tournament Coordinator and many
more.
The PGA Career Information Nights are
ideal for all individuals looking to begin
their career in golf, on or off the golf course.
Whether it be a school leaver, or a mature
age student looking at a career change, these
evenings will provide great insight in to the
qualifications available to individuals across
Australia.
PGA education staff will be on hand at each
session to provide information about courses
available and help you identify the pathway
or program suited to your career aspirations.
