Provide opportunities for everyone to play and learn the game of golf at all levels Aim to grow the game of golf through equitable and inclusive practices Work in tandem with Golf Australia to increase the popularity of golf in Western Australia

Our Mission : To lead , govern , promote and develop all aspects of the game Vision : To grow the game of golf .
Here are the list of industry representative associations . I ’ ve not included in the above list as these are true membership driven associations and the vision statements for them would have a strong emphasis on their specific membership needs .
There may be opportunity here however to add a flavour of MORE PEOPLE PLAYING MORE GOLF into their particular statements , which would also help in the further to unifying all governing bodies and associations toward a common vision .
PGA OF AUSTRALIA :
The PGA of Australia ' s mission and vision is to promote and grow the game of golf at all levels and provide our current and future Members with the opportunity to maximise their career potential . At the same time , we aim to be one of Asia-Pacific ' s leading sports brands , recognised as an industry leader who delivers the highest standards .
ALPG :
ALPG is an enthusiastic and passionate organisation which has a long and proud history of expanding and improving career opportunities for women professional golfers . We are committed to providing personal and business development opportunities for the Teaching Section through the conduct of a biannual seminars , promotion of the teaching members through the ALPG website and facilitating regular communication and information sharing among the teaching members .
GMA :
Mission Statement - To represent Golf Club Management in Australia and , through state associations , provide professional development and support for members . Providing the platform for the professional development of golf club managers and ensuring strong and visible representation in the golf industry .
AGCSA : " The AGCSA is committed to the ongoing professional development and support of all those involved in the golf course maintenance industry "
Following on from this , the AGCSA ' s ultimate goal is that : " All golf courses have the best possible playing surfaces and adjacent environment within the limitations of available resources "
AGIC :
“ The formation of the AGIC is an important step which will help to ensure that the leaders of both the sport and the business aspects of the Australian Golf Industry come together on a regular basis and work together for the common good of the game and the industry ."
The Australian Golf Industry Council ( AGIC ) was established in late 2006 to provide a forum to help unite the industry on agreed industry wide initiatives .
