“ The qualification addresses a range of golf industry areas including how to manage golf operations , running tournaments and events , staff management , recruitment , junior golf development , business operations and much more ,” explained Straw .

Successful completion of the Diploma of Golf Management has been the first step for many individuals towards a career in golf and the qualification is recognised by multiple higher education institutions across Australia , providing up to one year credit into Bachelor Degrees in Business and Hotel , Events or Sports Management .
Students have up to two years to successfully complete their studies in the online Diploma of Golf Management and the program offers monthly intakes for new students , running from February to December each year .
