PGA TV BRINGING FANS CLOSER TO THE ACTION

Australia has some of the most talented professional golfers in the world and thanks to PGA TV sports fans can watch them live and free .
The ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia is bringing fans closer to the golfing action with the launch of PGA TV which in 2017 will live stream the final rounds of the Victorian PGA Championship , Queensland PGA Championship , WA PGA Championship and NSW PGA Championship .
The pathway of champions ; the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia showcases the rising stars of Australian golf as well as some our leading international players .
PGA TV is an initiative which allows this talent to be broadcast via pga . org . au .
“ We all know the quality of talent on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia but it is important that sport fans have the ability to engage with our leading professionals . This is why we developed PGA TV ,” said Stephen Ayles , Chief Commercial Officer of the PGA . “ The tournaments will be live streamed on PGA TV during the final round with comprehensive highlights across the first three days .”
PGA TV will increase the exposure of ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia tournaments and stars . “ All professional golfers have a story to tell . PGA TV provides a vehicle for us to highlight the characters on Tour ,” added Ayles .
“ It will also help build the profiles of young Australian talent . The ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia is where they start their careers and hone their skills ; PGA TV allows fans the opportunity to watch them in preparation for the likes of the European Tour and PGA TOUR .
“ Guys like Adam Scott and Jason Day started playing on their home tour . The state championships that will be shown on PGA TV regularly feature our young talent like recent Asian Tour winner Todd Sinnott or European Tour player Ryan Fox as well as recent winners Dimitiros Papadatos and Jarryd Felton .”
PGA TV aims to be a leader in the online streaming of professional golf tournaments with the PGA engaging IMG Productions to ensure a top quality broadcast that brings a youthful feel with former LET Player Alison Whitaker and TV personality Shura Taft hosting .
