MERIDIAN® 25WG INSECTICIDE
Meridian® 25
WG insecticide
provides foliar and
systemic control
of grubs and insects in turf. It has a wide application window
and does not have to be watered in until up to 7 days after
application. It is also effective on a wide range of ornamentals
around golf courses, residential lawns and interiorscapes. The
active ingredient, thiamethoxam, works both through insect
ingestion and contact activity.
FEATURES
∂∂ Now labeled for chinch bug control
∂∂ Broad-spectrum insect control, including larvae of Asiatic garden beetle, billbug, black turfgrass ataenius, Japanese beetles,
May and June beetles and chafers.
∂∂ Quick, effective curative control

SCIMITAR® GC* AND CS
INSECTICIDES
The proprietary
formulation technology
of Scimitar® insecticides,
encapsulates the active
ingredient, lambdacyhalothrin, in small
polymer capsules to
protect it from the degrading effects of pH, sunlight and UV
light. The result is superior control of insects in turf and
ornamentals even after extended outdoor exposure.
FEATURES
∂∂ Time-released control of both surface and subsurface insects
∂∂ Labeled to control more than 20 turf pests including ants,
crickets, chiggers, fleas, grubs and ticks
BENEFITS
∂∂ Advanced formulation results in fast-acting and longer residual
control
∂∂ Effectively controls broad range of both turf and ornamental
insects
∂∂ Can be applied on wide variety of use sites including residential
lawns, institutional, public, commercial and industrial buildings,

AVID® INSECTICIDE
Avid miticide/insecticide, with the
active ingredient abamectin, controls
mites and leafminers and is labeled for
the suppression of aphids, thrips and
whiteflies. Unique chemistry and mode of action make it for
rotation in a resistance management program. Avid works by
stimulating the release of Gamma amino butyric acid (GABA),
which causes insect paralysis soon after ingestion.
®
FEATURES
∂∂ Within hours of exposure, feeding and damage to the plant stops
∂∂ Ideal product for rotation in resistance management programs
∂∂ Leaves no unsightly residues on plant surfaces and has little to
no odor
BENEFITS
∂∂ Rainfast within hours of application, offering outdoor application
flexibility
∂∂ Formulated for easy application with standard equipment
∂∂ Penetrates the leaf surfaces to deposit a reservoir of active
ingredient inside the plant cuticle through translaminar activity

ENDEAVOR®
INSECTICIDE
Endeavor® insecticide, with
the active ingredient, pymetrozine, belongs to a new class
of chemistry that safely eliminates sap-sucking aphids and
whiteflies with its unique mode of action. When sprayed on
the plant, there is some initial contact activity, but the primary
mode of action and residual control occurs through insect
feeding inhibition.
FEATURES
∂∂ Moves quickly into plants where it is most accessible to the
probing and feeding sites of sucking pests
∂∂ Unique mode of action blocks ingestion, stopping aphids and
whiteflies from feeding further
∂∂ No harm to beneficial insects or mites
BENEFITS
∂∂ Control is immediate; preventing aphids from damaging plants
∂∂ Effective against aphids and whiteflies that are resistant to
other classes of chemistry
∂∂ Ideal product for use in Insect Pest Management (IPM) programs
