“Stop!” Oliver shouted.
“What now?” Pansy asked the hedgehog feeling
annoyed.
“Don’t you see, Pansy?” Oliver warned the dog.
“There is a wall ahead and it looks like shimmering
water.”
Oliver crept closer, touched the blue wall and
said as he pulled his paw back,” “It’s not water. It
feels like warm air.”
“This must be the portal between worlds,” Pansy
said with a brave expression on her face. “Let me go
first. Follow me only if nothing happens to me. I’ll
call you from the other side.”
Terry and Oliver watched anxiously as Pansy
crossed the shimmering portal. When the dog
stepped into the portal, she became almost invisible.
But when she took another step, she assured the
others, “It’s safe. You can cross too.”
