Ana and her siblings have forgotten the struggle their parents went through as migrant field workers as they dragged them along when they were young children. As Ana, her younger sister and older brothers become young adults, their mother takes them to work in the fields, a los campos, to make sure they understand that without an education they will have to work that much harder to make a living.
