Judith and Toucan rushed to the edge of the waterfall to wait for La Sirena. Before long La Sirena appeared, just as Toucan said she would.

“Oh, most beautiful and gracious Sirena,” Judith shouted, “please give me back my brother, Tomas, and in exchange I will give you this gold-and-emerald ring.” At first La Sirena just watched Judith from the distance, and then she came closer to look at the ring.
