on her role in ony Entertainment’s “Apple Of My Eye”, Lionsgate’s “Blue Line”, Education and dealing with negativity.

What about 'Apple Of My Eye' made you decide to take on the role?

"For starters, the story is so inspiring and I immediately fell in love with the script. I had worked with our amazing director, Castile Landon, before so when I was offered the role it was really a no-brainer. Of course, being able to work with a mini horse was an added bonus!"

How did the role inspire you?

"I play Jenny, the lead character’s Braille tutor. Not knowing much about Braille, I did as much research as I could but then was taken under the many wings at Southeastern Guide Dogs soon after arriving in Florida. Working so closely with the individuals there taught me so much. It sounds cliche, but the expression ‘when one door closes another one opens’ really best describes how the role and film as a whole inspired me."

Do you want to take on more serious roles, or would you prefer to explore some comedic roles instead?

"Comedy is my world. I love everything about it and it’s where I’m most comfortable, but the more recent serious roles have definitely been a great challenge and a huge learning experience. "
