Word Games This is one of those games that can go on forever. It begins with one player picking a category, for example, “food.” The player then says a type of food, and the next player has to say another type of food that begins with the last letter of the word. For example, if the first player says “apple,” the next player has to say a food that begins with the letter “e.” Answers cannot be repeated, and the winner gets to pick the next category. 12 GO Yellowhead 2017 Saskatoon, SK AVALON DOG PARK Located at the south end of Broadway Ave. This is a fully fenced dog park that is frequented by locals. saskatoon.ca Minnedosa, MB LIONS CLUB DOG PARK Located at 173 1st Ave. This is the perfect spot to take a break from the road with your animal friend. discoverminnedosa.com Yorkton, SK WIGGLY FIELD DOG PARK Located just off the Yellowhead between Gladstone Ave. and Park Rd. The word or license plate must begin with the letter. For example, a Dairy Queen sign can be used for a D or a Q. When a player spots the letter, they must shout it out to the rest of the players, because only one player can use the letters found on each sign! The first player to find all the letters of the alphabet is the winner. Would You Rather? This game poses a dilemma in the form of a question beginning with “would you rather…?” The dilemma can be between two supposedly good options, such as, “Would you rather have the power of flight or the power of invisibility?”, or it can be between two supposedly bad options, as in, “Would you rather loose your thumb or your big toe?” The players then must choose their answers — answering “neither” or “both” is against the rules. Debates, and questions clarifying the options, are welcome!
