The 36th annual AAUW Wildflower Run, held on March 31 at
Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill was a record-breaking event.
Sunnyvale mother of triplets, Ann Marie Cody, broke the Guinness
World Record of a female pushing a triple stroller in the 10k race.
She also came in third overall of the women in the 10k (while
pushing 140 pounds of children and stroller). The American
Association of University Women, event organizers, are also
expecting record profits from the run, due to the unprecedented
generosity of our corporate sponsors and members. They are
hopeful that, when final expenses are accounted for, they will
have $60K to allocate to scholarships, leadership programs, for
women and girls, community grants, and other programming sup-
porting equity for women and girls.
