GARLIC CITY CAR SHOW
Historic Downtown Gilroy was the venue for this year's event that
included 284 beautiful cars & trucks, a world record-setting speed
boat and a Vietnam-era military tank. Along with all the amazing
cars there were three live music stages, over fifty vendors, an
expanded family zone, a train providing rides around the show
and, generously donated by Gilroy Gardens, mascots Gil & Roy.
2018 Car Show Committee Chair Tim Pierson summed it up when
he said “The Car Show surpassed just about every expectation I
had. I also want to thank my committee and all our sponsors. See
you next year.”

FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC SERIES 2018
The Friday Night Music Series experienced its most successful year ever in 2018.
The community arrived with overwhelming numbers to support each of the 12
concerts held within the series. New opening and headlining performances were
introduced to the lineup this year including 3 Tribute bands from different genres
of music. The concert series was nominated and voted-on by South County as
the 2018 “Best Place to Dance” and “Best Event” in the Morgan Hill Times. The
Morgan Hill Kiwanis and Morgan Hill Grange organizations raised over $18,000 this
year, which will be allocated to youth scholarships and education programs through-
out our community. The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce and the corporate
sponsors would like to thank South County for helping make the FREE Friday Night
