STORIES OF GILROY HERITAGE
The atmosphere was festive on January 21st at Old City Hall when Gilroy Historical Society
presented their film “Stories of Gilroy Heritage 2017,” created by 152 West Productions.
Seniors honored for their oral histories were Sig Sanchez, Al Gagliardi, Muriel Brem, Richard
Young, Mildred Braquet, Ann Jazweski and Phil Lawton. Amid a luncheon gathering of over one
hundred friends and relatives the seniors reveled in their moment of fame. Each senior received
an uncut version of their entire interview plus a DVD of the 45-minute composite version.
Anyone wishing to purchase a DVD may do so for $10 at the Gilroy Museum, 195 Fifth Street.
