ordeValle is set to host the 71st U.S. Women’s
Open Championship. The property will host tens of
thousands of golf devotees during the championship,
which will be conducted July 4-10, 2016.
This will be the third time the U.S. Women’s Open has been
conducted in California and it will be the first one in more than
three decades. CordeValle has hosted top-tier championships
in years prior, including the PGA Tour’s Frys.com Open from
2010-2013, as well as the 2011 and 2015 PGA Cups, and
the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship in 2013.

Considered the world’s premier women’s golf championship,
the U.S. Women’s Open is one of 13 national championships
conducted annually by the United States Golf Association
(USGA). The championship is open to female professional
female golfers and amateurs with a Handicap Index® not
exceeding 2.4.
