Today Helen spends time creating both functional and
wearable art glass and filling special orders for clients. She offered
one piece of advice to anyone who wants to pursue an artistic

career: “You need to make sure you really love what you do. It’s a
rough road when trying to make a living. You need to be willing
to put yourself out there.” Once Helen took that leap of faith,
her rough road began to smooth out and today her glass studio
is in high production.
