RELAY FOR LIFE
The Morgan Hill event starts at 10:00 am Saturday , May 26th and continues to the next morning . The event will be at the Morgan Hill Community Park ( 171 W . Edmundson Avenue ). So far , the 2015 organizers has secured 29 teams and 123 participants . The contact person is Tima Maharaj , tima . maharaj @ cancer . org .
The Gilroy event goes from 10:00 am June 27 to the morning of June 28 . The event is held at Christmas Hill Park , Ranch Site ( 7049 Miller Avenue ). The 2015 leadership group has 29 teams and 105 participants . The contact person is Manuel Haro , mharogilroyrelayforlife @ gmail . com .
36th ANNUAL MUSHROOM MARDI GRAS
MAY 24-25 , 2015 — Morgan Hill The grounds of the Cultural and Community Center will once again turn into a celebration of mushrooms and family fun . Admission is free , hours are from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Sunday . The event will feature arts & crafts , food vendors , mushroom exhibits , a wine garden , a beer garden , cooking demonstrations , musicians & street performers , two stages with live music , and local business & non-profit exhibits . CULINARY ACADEMY POP-A-CORK
MAY 21 , 2015 — Gilroy Solis Winery will host a benefit for the Culinary Academy from Rebekah Children ’ s Services in Gilroy . The Culinary Academy is one of those homegrown success stories . What started as a simple training program for youth , has grown into a sophisticated cooking school and catering program . Chef Carlos Pineda , Culinary Instructor and Program Supervisor , is a graduate of the program . The Pop-A-Cork event will be catered by the Culinary Academy . DAZZLE , AN EVENING AFFAIR
MAY 29 , 2015 — Morgan Hill The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill will once again take over the Clos LaChance Winery for the 10th Annual Dazzle Dinner and Auction , “ A Celebration of Giving in Style .” This sell-out event is one of the major fundraisers for the Rotary . Funds raised support local and international Rotary objectives like the eradication of polio . The event includes a hosted champagne and wine reception , a sunset dinner featuring the wines of Clos LaChance , a raffle showcase , silent & live auctions and a comedy theater performance by Pintello Comedy Theater .
